the SuperMax Beach Scoop specifications :
7" wide x 6" high x 14" long (304 Stainless Steel), tig welded
Hole size: .640"
Weight including the handle bolt: 2 lb 13 oz
The carbon fiber handle: 48" long, 1 3/8" diameter and NOT filled with foam. It floats like no other handle and weighs a mere 13 oz. It has the "Fish Scale" finish pioneered by me which minimizes slipping when lifting your scoop. The angle of the handle is at 20 degrees which most find perfect.
The handle is bolted into place which clamps the upper tube to the handle making a solid connection. This concept is superior to the concept that I designed years ago with a bolt clamping the handle with ears sticking out. It is simple, light and effective.
Your choice: Rounded or Pointed front. Rounded is good for scraping clay bottoms.

Hi Chuck,
Yesterday I received the SuperMax Scoop with Handle. Today used it
for the first time at Siesta Beach in Sarasota Florida. I enjoyed
using it way more than my Xtreme Titanium Hybrid. The SuperMax
basket design allowed me to get to deeper targets with less
attempts. Sifting was a breeze and joy. The SuperMax handle floats
much better than the Xtreme
I like the prototype purchased two weeks ago so much I thought I'd
buy this one as a backup.
Perfect, ship it !!!
I've been using the SuperMax and love it. I never want to go back to
a hybrid
